On
August 26, 1920, just a couple of months after the establishment of the Women's
Bureau, women were finally granted the right to vote. Even though we
commemorate this day to recognize the passage of the 19th amendment, it also
serves as a reminder of all that remains to be done. We at the Women's Bureau
appreciate your commitment to equality for all women.
