To the dismay of many federal contractors, OFCCP has announced that they will
make public contractor establishments that will receive the Corporate
Scheduling Announcement Letters (CSALs).
The CSALs provide employers with advance notice of the locations targeted by
OFCCP for Audit. The CSAL does not initiate an audit and will be followed by a
"scheduling letter" The Scheduling Letter is a standardized
information request by OFCCP. Contractors must provide their affirmative action
plan to OFCCP within 30 days of receiving a scheduling letter.
CSALs are sent directly to the facility to be audited, and, are simply
addressed to "Human Resources Director".
