US Department of Labor to host minimum wage round table in Denver April 12

The U.S. Department of Labor on April 12 will hold a round-table discussion on President Obama’s proposal to raise the minimum wage and ensure that hard work leads to a decent living.
The acting deputy administrator for the department’s Wage and Hour Division, Mary Beth Maxwell, will be joined by advocates and local workers, who will share their thoughts about how a minimum wage increase would benefit them and their families. There will be a media availability following the discussion.
